Lateesha has always been a creative person. However, her family considered art a hobby and she almost joined the accounting industry to further her studies. Thankfully, she got “The Call”, to study animation at the Centre of Fine Arts, Animation and Design. She worked hard and gained bursaries to continue her studies for four years. Specializing in 2D animation in her final year. She got her first job in the animation industry as a 2D Animator. Though that only lasted for three months before she took another opportunity to work as a Junior Production Coordinator on a Netflix series. The path change from creative to production was shockingly different but it felt right. Now it has been four years in the industry, coming from Coordinator positions to a Production Manager. She has worked closely with amazing Producers, Production Managers, Directors, and Artists.
Though at times it was tough, she loved every second of it. There is still so much to learn and she hopes to one day produce her own series.
